Oh my god, I haven't posted in a billion years! I have been keeping my self busy with lots of freelance work and catching up with clients. I am crossing my fingers and hoping that I can maintain and manage all my clients for years to come. This freelance lifestyle is great! I love being able to work at home, but it does get boring from time to time.
I procrastinated all day today. Well, not really. I had lunch with my friend Roxanne, missed a doctors appointment, tried to get some work done, but ended up in China Town with a friend for a dinner meeting. And now, I just finished doing my REAL work. Ahhhh... what fun!? It actually is pretty fun since I am sitting on the couch with the computer on my lap and three kitty cats cuddled around me. I think I've actually gone to heaven, don't you?
Life otherwise has been GREAT. I am so very happy that Matt is home. I have also stopped poking him in the face from time to time which is my way to make sure that I'm not dreaming. Our ADD (attention deficit disorder) is pretty funny because we both cannot stay focused for dear life. He is so excited to be home, constantly observing and absorbing everything around him. I am excited that he is home, and therefore am even more excited that he's observing and absorbing everything. We are like ping-pong balls that perpetually bounce back and forth from wall to wall. We're fun people to watch. (Joe Tan would agree!)
In the meanwhile, I am spending a whole four days alone without Matt because he has flown to his home state. I am here in Los Angeles catching up with clients before the holidays and making sure that my work is in order. It feels quite strange to be alone again, especially since I've enjoyed his presence so much. Yet, it also feels great to be alone again. Don't get me wrong, I love the man to bits! However, the kitty cats are grateful that their sleeping spaces on the bed are available again. I hope that they will manage to stay warm while I'm gone for the holidays. Amanda is going to be taking care of them, but I am not sure if I should leave the heat on for the cats... you know how cold it gets in California!
